About
Founding Statement
The Falcon Medical Response Team (FMRT) was founded in 2025 by Rishi Sankaran, a certified CERT responder and community EMS volunteer in the Cary/Raleigh region. FMRT was created to fill a critical the critical gap in event medical coverage by building the first high‑school student–run Event first aid team in the United States, designed around professional‑grade training, accountability, and community service. FMRT also fills a major and often overlooked gap in first‑aid readiness; empowering trained youth responders to recognize emergencies early, intervene confidently, and save lives in moments where immediate action matters.
FMRT began as a small, student‑led initiative and has since grown into a structured, highly trained response team serving 10,500+ community members across the Research Triangle region.
